Anonymizer® Total Net Shield™ v2.08 - Outlook Configuration
Open your Outlook mail client, go to Tools then select Email Accounts.
On the Email Accounts page, select the option Add a New Email Account. Click Next to continue.
For Server Type select POP3, click Next.
On the Email Accounts Page enter your Name, Email address, Username, and Password. For the Incoming and Outgoing server enter the word localhost (all lowercase, no spaces). Click on More Settings to the lower right.
On the Settings page click OK to proceed to the next step. You have now successfully set up your Anonymizer Email account. Click Finish to complete the set up.
Click on Advanced at the top, and make sure "Leave a copy of messages on server" is NOT checked. For the privacy of our customers we do NOT backup our mail servers. Once the messages are downloaded to your computer they can NOT be recovered.
