What’s the difference between the Anonymizer Privacy Button and the classic Anonymizer Surfing services? There is fundamentally no difference in the privacy protection provided by our Privacy Button and classic web-based services. Both are based on Anonymizer’s trusted proxy service. The Privacy Button simply routes your surfing through Anonymizer servers automatically and transparently when clicked, where our classic service requires that you log on to our web site and start your Anonymous surfing session from there. What if I use Mac, Netscape, Linux, AOL, or Opera? We currently don’t have a Privacy Button compatible with these browsers or operating systems. However, you can continue to use both our Free and subscription-based Anonymous Surfing services by simply logging on to www.anonymizer.com, typing an URL, and clicking GO.
