Web Developer / Graphic Designer

Anonymizer is an Abraxas Corporation company and is the leader in online identity protection and privacy. We are currently seeking a Web Developer / Graphic Designer to join our team.

The successful candidate will create design prototypes, including graphic design, site navigation and layout content for corporate websites.

Responsibilities include ›

• Ensure that the layout of the content is accessible and logical; ensure sites are easy to navigate; recommend improvements if necessary.
• Create visual concepts that match client’s expectations but that fit in company’s standards.
• Assist with website design.
• Perform maintenance and updates to existing websites when requested.
• Ensure the adoption of brand strategy and standards is reflected in all website solutions.
• Maintain awareness of industry competitors to influence strategy and content.

Qualifications include ›

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in computer science, IT, web development or design or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience in working with table-less architecture, HTML, hand coding and scripting.
• Advanced knowledge of XHTML, CSS, digital editing and illustration with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver, as well as other desktop publishing applications.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and dynamic HTML.
• Knowledge and demonstrated experience of cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.).
• Experience working on both PC and MAC platforms.
• Flash skills and scripting experience.
• Ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear way.
• Solid knowledge of current web-design trends and techniques, a strong online portfolio displaying user-friendly design and experience with web database solutions definite assets.
• Knowledge of PERL, CGI and knowledge of templating systems (Template Toolkit, Mason, etc.) a plus.

Windows Administrator

Responsibilities include ›

• Supporting a large desktop virtualization environment with little guidance from senior administrators.
• Build, clone and make templates of Windows desktops.
• Participate in a 7/24 on-call rotation.
• Must be capable of finding information and learning on ones own.

Qualifications include ›

• 5+ years of Windows administration experience.
• Experience or interest in learning Linux.
• Effective communications skill and style.
• Wide breadth of technical interest. Experience with networking technologies and/or LINUX/UNIX based operating systems required.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP network architecture and implementation is a must; ideal candidate will have experience with complex TCP/IP networks.

VMware/VDI Architect

The successful candidate will perform a variety of engineering activities related to planning, implementing, and managing enterprise wide VDI deployments. Duties include design, development, support and training support staff. Additional responsibilities include creating and implementing best practices for enterprise wide server monitoring, capacity planning, and high availability.

Responsibilities include ›

• Architect and implement large-scale virtualization/VDI environments.
• Evaluate, design, advise, implement and integrate products and controls into various platforms, network devices and systems.
• Prepare technical designs as well as high-level flowcharts and schematics.
• Create documentation of systems and provide knowledge transfer for project to support staff.
• Aid in the awareness of standards and best practices, as well as enforcing these standards.

Qualifications include ›

• 5-6 years in Systems Administration.
• 3-4 years experience working with Storage Area Networks (SANs) or Network Attached Storage (NAS).
• 3-5 years experience working with VMware.
• 1-2 years experience working with VMware VDI.
• Effective communications skill and style.
• Experience with Active Directory is a plus.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP network architecture and implementation is a must; ideal candidate will have experience with complex TCP/IP networks.
• VMware Certification, VCP (VMware Certified Professional)
• BS in computer science or equivalent.
• Experienced training, mentoring other Systems Engineers/Administrators.
• Travel nationwide 25-50%

Windows Developer

Our San Diego location is currently seeking an experienced .NET Developer to maintain our client/server applications as well as participate in developing new applications. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, both on an individual level and within small groups.

Responsibilities include ›

• Design new software applications in support of customer contracts.
• Assisting developers in maintenance and debugging of software.

Qualifications include ›
