Firefox will open to a page with final instructions for finishing the installation. Support

The toolbar extension doesn’t show up after installation

This may occur if you’ve previously installed other Mozilla-based browsers, such as Netscape. Because of multiple conflicting “profiles,” you’ll need to manually remove the extra profiles and reinstall Firefox before installing the Anonymizer Extension. The recommended steps are:
1. Export your bookmarks (Bookmarks menu, Manage Bookmarks, Export)
2. Uninstall Firefox
3. Delete the Mozilla Firefox folder under Program Files
4. Delete the Mozilla folder found under Documents and Settings: (C:Documents and Settings(Windows User Login)Application DataMozilla)
5. Re-install Firefox and the Anonymizer extension

The toolbar extension won’t install

There are a few known issues that may prevent normal installation of the Anonymizer toolbar extension:
• If tabbed browsing has been set to open new links in a new tab, the extension installer may not appear. To work around this situation, change the tabbed browsing option to one of the other options (Tools > Options > Advanced > Tabbed Browsing.) Select either the “a new window” or “the most recent tab/window” option and try running the extension installer again.

• If you have another advanced tabbed browsing extension installed in Firefox, you may have problems installing the Anonymizer toolbar extension. Try disabling other extensions before running the toolbar extension installer.

• If you’ve unchecked the “Allow web sites to install software” box, the Anonymizer toolbar extension installer will not launch. Select this option (Tools > Options > Web Features) and run the installer again. If you wish, you may uncheck the option again once you’ve installed the toolbar extension.

Importing bookmarks from Internet Explorer

If you imported bookmarks from Internet Explorer when you first launched Firefox, the link for this Anonymizer Total Privacy Suite help will not be added to the bookmarks bar.

Uninstalling the Program

If you choose to uninstall Total Privacy:
Simply run the installer again or use your Windows Control Panel to Add or Remove Programs. The installer will not remove Firefox, so you’ll need to use Add or Remove Programs.
If you keep Firefox, but wish to remove the toolbar extension, go to the Tools menu in Firefox and select Extensions. Follow the instructions inside the dialog window to complete the removal of the Anonymizer Extension.
